A Global act in Mindfulness.

The skies are clear, there’s a whole lot less noise to go around. Yes, there’s so much wrong going on in the emergency rooms for sure, and in the highest offices of government and organizations, we see pandemonium.
But on the other hand, this sort of collective attention to very few things, this cognitive essentialism, it’s mindboggling.
When was the last time you felt like many people were thinking about the same things as you? Would you have ever imagined that you’d be dreaming similarly to others as well?
We’re engaged in a global act of mindfulness; an appreciation of our experience, not necessarily only through ourselves, but on a more, abstract, almost spiritual level.
I’m not one for faith, but there definitely is something otherworldly about this.
It leaves me thinking about where this sort of collective mindfulness will lead us? Hopefully, into a world more cognizant of the fact that as individuals, we aren’t mere islands.
