The "Recycling" lie, the massive banking scandal and a few more.
This series has to be the most consistent thing I’ve done in a long while. And you guys seem to find it a great addition to your week.
The articles this week come in all shapes and sizes; from massive stories on the immorality of the banking system(“Oh wow I’m shocked”… said no one really), down to the lies of the oil industry about the efficacy of recycling.

A new study from Rwanda is the latest evidence for just giving people money: What if (and I mean this sincerely), what if the most effective way of helping people, was money. The TikTok deal solves quite literally nothing: After months of angst by the general public (mostly zoomers) regarding the future of Tik Tok, we’ve come to find that the deal that was meant to secure the privacy of the American consumer, did everything but that; and by everything I mean make a bunch of people richer Read Here
FinCEN Files Show Criminals Moved Billions As Banks Watched: I remember hearing an argument against bitcoin that went something like “Bitcoin is used by criminals… money launderers to perform transactions that come at the expense of society”. I always knew that argument to be bullshit, primarily rooted in the need for certain people to maintain power. This article definitely solidified my suspicions. In this groundbreaking revelation by Buzzfeed News, we are shown a world in which banks casually neglect the vast scale illegal transactions going through their networks. Read Here
